Somewhere between the inexperienced greenhorn and the cost-is-no-object yachtsman, there exists a set of characters in almost every boatyard across the world: the hard-core budget-minded serious DIYer. In that back corner of the yard, making do, getting dirty, and getting it done.

Here at Dirty Sailor, we feel your pain. We’re shipwrights, sailors, and fishermen. We’ve worked on whatever boat has come our way. We’ve given and taken more advice -good and bad- then we care to recall. Doing it right, doing it wrong, or just getting it done, we’re all for splashing the boat, heading out, and enjoying the fruit of our labor.
